I love my friends
Introduction
Friends are the most important thing in life for me. Building and maintaining friendships is such a unique quirk of humans to me, so much so that it might make the human experience worth it.

All of us are different. – We lead different lives, think different, have different interests, different perspectives and can be so far from eachother. Yet, we form bonds, often stronger ones than any other form of bond and decide to share our lives. No one wants to be lonely and no one needs to be. It is a little utopian trait inherit to all of us.

We form groups, languages, culture and traditions around that fact. No one remains untouched by friendship and it shapes who we are. I am a conglomerat of all of my friends. Their likes, their opinions, their experiences ... and I'm very proud to be.

Sincerely Me - Dear Evan Hansen

When I was in boarding school and we - my roommates, friends and I - would walk to or from school to the boarding home (which took about 10 minutes), we would always sing these two songs together very loudly.
Not all of us were necessarily into musicals and none of us had watched "Dear Evan Hansen"

Multiple memories.

  • In elementary school I would always play and exchange DS games with Jan. Wild World and later New Leaf were some of our favorite games to play together and I only have a golden shovel thanks to her.
  • When ACNH came out I didn't think I'd get it, but since lockdown had just started a lot of my friends were telling me to play with them. So, unable to go to a proper store, I went to the grocery store to buy a gift card to get it digitally and I played lots with Lo., To. and D..
  • By far the experience with Animal Crossing that stuck with me the most was when I took a look into my old New Leaf save file and found that through street pass I had (in the village section) acquired the house of Sop., who I was friends with one summer in 7th grade, who passed away not long before.

I think of S. everytime I see marine life. We joke that she should change into marine biology because it would suit her so well (we both and my sister think that). So I was very delighted to give some of these kitschy Aqua-Stickers to her :)
I always cook my noodles with lots of salt.
In the last year of hight school, our boarding school mensa was understaffed, so they didn't serve dinner for a few weeks. Luckily, S., my sister, Lot., Lot.'s friend and I lived in the "WG" at that point and had a kitchen there. So every day we cooked Pasta with Pesto for us, Ali., Lau., Al., Pau. and Lu..
My sister was always the main cook, since she also had the most experience, and she always emphasized that you have to salt the water a lot, at least 2 teaspoons. So every time I cook my noodles, I think of her.
I've been really excited to start this pretty sketchbook.
I bought it from Em., who had made it for a workshop and sold it. I think the design of it is so uniquely her and screams perfect balance. It's rather fragile, so I need to get a clear case for it before I use it. D. has also been waiting to make me one once I'm finished with this one :)
How precious to have one's "grimoire" made by a friend.
I really like Malice Mizer (super surprising, I know).
Their sound is such a wonderful mix of classical and goth rock, you can't quite find the same in any other band. I got introduced to them by Em., who's much more into VKei than me anyway and is SOOO cool, who had "ma chérie" from them in her story.

In my memory box, I have this whisker.
It was sent to me in a letter by my sister back when her cat was still alive. I feel quite honored, I also treasure my Garfield's Whiskers whenever he loses one and I've never given one to someone else. But now I have this memory of my sister's cat.

She lives here.
